Community Engagement
Summer Festival Tour
Many people in our communities are not aware of the opportunities and potential of skilled trades as a career path. To address this issue, we planned our Community Engagement Summer Festival Tours that will educate community members at festivals such as Afrofest!

Our programs form a comprehensive framework to educate, inspire, and empower individuals who are eager to explore the skilled trades. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where participants can discover their passion, develop their skills, and unlock their full potential.
Skilled Trades Symposium
Providing young people with the right information and resources is crucial to helping them make informed decisions about their future careers.

As a result, we created a unique program for students in grades 6-12 called the Skilled Trades Symposium.
This event takes place in your school and features trades unions and community organizations who will showcase various apprenticeship trades opportunities available to students.
Follow Through to Success Mentorship Program
Our mentorship program pairs aspiring individuals with experienced tradespeople who provide guidance, support, and industry-specific knowledge.
Through one-on-one mentoring relationships, we help nurture talent, build confidence, and offer valuable insights to navigate the challenges and maximize opportunities in the trades industry.
Job Site Tours
Our tours provide an immersive experience where participants can witness firsthand the work of tradespeople and learn about their skills, tools, and work environments.
The tours can cover a wide range of industries, from construction and carpentry to electrical and plumbing work, and give participants a chance to ask questions and receive guidance from experienced professionals
Informational Workshops
It is essential to educate parents, teachers and guidance counselors and community members about the opportunities and potential of skilled trades so they can better guide their children/students towards these careers.
To address this need, we developed Information Sessions hosted by experienced trades professionals and inspirational speakers.
